How to unlock the chessboard
It opens during the quest “Temple where the sand flows like tears.” The chessboard is located on the territory of Safkhe Shatranj. We marked the exact location on the map.
Below we explain how to find each shape and what you can do with it. Keep in mind that some of them are not accessible until you complete certain missions.
Deshret’s crystal cup
Go to the point indicated on the map.
You will see a device flying away from you. Chase it until it stops. After that you can pick up this item.
Temple of Gurabad
Item spawn condition: Complete the Tadlé Falcon quest.
Go south.
Run west and go up the stairs. The device is located at the entrance to the tomb. As in the previous case, you need to catch up with him.
border fortress
Prerequisite for the appearance of the device: Complete the task “Falcon Tadle”.
Go to the village of Aaru.
The item is located northeast of the teleport.
shower boat
Condition for the appearance of the device: complete the quest “Abundance under the sand dunes 2”.
Go to the Hemenu Temple.
Turn left and go up the stairs. The desired item floats in the air to your right.
Tomb of King Deshmet
Condition for the item to appear: Complete the quest “Plenty Under the Sand Dunes 3”.
Use the teleport.
Turn back and exit the tomb. The device floats right in front of you.
Pillar of King Deshmet
Go north.
Use the fireflies to fly across. Climb the stairs to the top. The desired item is in front of the pyramid.
haj nisut
Condition for the item to appear: Complete the quest “Plenty Under the Sand Dunes 3”.
Go northeast.
Fly east. You can use the fireflies to get to the other side. There you will find the last device.
What are chess pieces for?
Return to Safkh Shatranj.
Approach the seven activating devices and place the chess pieces you found. For each of them you will receive a precious chest. They will contain 5 source stones.
Difficulties can arise only with the installation of Deshret’s Crystal Goblet. The pedestal is not at the bottom, but at the top of one of the statues.
If you activate all seven chess pieces, you will get the Blood Moon achievement.
If you have completed the task “The Falcon Who Folded Its Wings”, then after installing all the figures, the quest “Memory of Gurabad” will begin.
