Take-Two has released its report for the third quarter of fiscal year 2023. The publisher has shared updated sales data for its games, including GTA 5.
The company’s revenue grew 56% ($1.41 billion) and sales rose 60% ($1.38 billion). Remarkably, 95% of all sales came from digital copies.
In the third quarter, Take-Two sold another five million copies of GTA 5 and four million copies RDR 2. Their total circulation was 175 and 50 million respectively.

Not all of the publisher’s games could boast of financial success. By means of words Jason Schreier, Marvel’s Midnight Suns failed in sales. A failed release window is cited as a possible reason – the game was released on December 2nd, the same day as NFS Unbound and The Callisto Protocol. However, the company continues to support the project.
Take-Two plans to release 87 titles through 2025. Almost half is in the mobile segment.
Along with the financial report, Take-Two head Strauss Zelnick commented on the staff loss. GTA 6 – we studied it in detail here.
We take leaks very seriously. They disappoint us all, upset the team immensely. From a business standpoint, the leaks didn’t affect us, but they hurt us personally and emotionally.
According to Tom Henderson the full announcement GTA 6 could take place in October-November this year. Let’s not forget…
