New patch for nextgen version”The Witcher 3 has quietly added a number of innovations. First, the blacksmith of Novigrad got that same comment back about the best swords in town. Second, he started selling new equipment.
Now you can buy some witcher knives from the gunsmith. Both swords are relics and cost a penny. A silver sword gives +15% to mark power, and a steel sword gives +10% to deal a critical hit.
Remarkably, this is the same “canonical” weapon seen in the demo for E3 2014. The silver sword can be identified by the characteristic runic patterns on the blade – in the old trailer, its glow made it look more like a Jedi.
According to the patch notes, the update also fixed ray tracing on the PC version. According to the first tests, the results are not so clear. Let’s not forget…
