Journalist and insider Chris Klippel informed on Twitter that Rockstar has begun actively recruiting people for game tester positions. The source believes this is due to GTA 6, development of which is believed to have entered its final stages.
According to Klippel, the recruitment of new specialists is unlikely to be related to GTA Online, although the game is still supported. He clarified that a similar situation occurred in the spring of 2018, six months before the release of Red Dead Redemption 2.
The data is indirectly confirmed by the dataminer nicknamed Tez2, who discovered that GTA 6 may already have a beta version ready. He found several files named “bank release”, “beta”, and “debug”, which may indicate a completed test version of the game.
So the new game can come out relatively soon. If the data is correct, it will appear on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
