There are reports on the Internet from many gamers who have found a way to significantly improve the performance of the remake. Dead Space without the need to upgrade hardware.
According to DSOGaming, you should enable Resizable BAR feature to improve game performance. Tests have shown that you can increase the FPS by 25%.
For example, on PC (Intel i9-9900K, 16 GB DDR4 3800 MHz and NVIDIA RTX 4090), the game delivered 101 FPS in a given scene with Resizable BAR enabled. After turning it off, the frame rate dropped to 76 FPS.
It is worth noting that simply enabling Resizable BAR in the BIOS setup is not enough. For the feature to work properly in the game, you need to use the NVIDIA Inspector tool. After getting started, you need to find the Dead Space profile and make the changes shown in the screenshot below:
It is noteworthy that Resizable BAR requires hardware that officially supports this feature. Most new processors, graphics cards and motherboards have this support.
