In the next big update for Minecraft is getting a new mob – the Sniffer, who won the vote at the last Minecraft Live festival. One of the developers showedhow it will look in game.
The screenshots show the crowd prototype – the final version may change. Judging by the pictures, the Sniffer will be tall – even taller than Steven.

The Snuffelaar is an ancient friendly mob with four legs and a green growth on its back that reproduces with eggs. He likes plants and can search for seeds. It is not yet known when the update with the Sniffer will be released.
