Review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes has received its first ratings from viewers for the first episode of The Last of Us. At the moment, the indicators are 88% “freshness”.
Earlier, reviews of journalists also became known – there the show scored as much as 98%, becoming the best screen adaptation of games. Only Arcane and Cyberpunk 2077: Edgerunners received higher marks, but these are animation projects. And the film adaptation of The Last of Us is a project with live actors.
Of course, it is difficult to draw conclusions from the estimates of the first series, because only in the first season there will be 9 episodes. But it seems that despite all the problems, the project has potential.
Note that previously many disliked the serial adaptation of The Last of Us in absentia, after learning that Bella Ramsey was chosen for the role of Ellie.
