A new video has surfaced online showing the progress on PS4 emulators. The new version of the Spine emulator lets you run Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD, Harvest Moon: Light of Hope SE Complete and Garfield Kart – Furious Racing, as well as other 2D and even 3D games.
Of course, these and other programs are at an early stage of development, so the launch of Bloodborne or Ghost of Tsushima on PC is not yet possible, but in the future it will certainly become a reality.
To date, there are 4 actively developed PS4 emulators: Spine, Kyty, fpPS4 and GPCS4. Some of them work only in Linux, others – and under Windows. Previously, 65 games were launched on one of the emulators.
Note that Sony does not welcome their console emulators and often tries to ban their development. Also, their creation is complicated by closed hardware and software. But the work is gradually progressing. Our friendly neighbor Spider-Man stepped into the steampunk universe and did not forget to bring his friends (well, enemies, of course)
