Valve has summarized the results of voting for the best games in The Steam Awards 2022. The top prize for Game of the Year, as expected, went to Elder ring. The project also won in the Best Game You Can’t Get category.
It is noteworthy that four of the ten awards were won by former PlayStation exclusives – Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, God of War and Death Stranding: Director’s Cut. Role play Cyberpunk 2077 also excelled, winning in the Favorite Child category.
The winners of the Steam Awards 2022:
- Game of the Year: Elden Ring;
- Virtual Reality Game of the Year: Hit Man 3;
- Favorite child: Cyberpunk 2077;
- A friend is known in the game: Rapid;
- Excellent visual style: Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales;
- Most Innovative Gameplay: Strayed;
- The best game you don’t get: Elden Ring;
- Best Soundtrack: Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade;
- Best game with excellent story: god of war;
- Make it easy: Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
- Best game on the go: Death Stranding: Director’s Cut.

Metacritic has previously named the best PC game of 2022. Valve has also published a list of the most popular projects on Steam for 2022. Kojima will continue to make games after his death
