Thanks to artist ZHOU Tony, we can see what Kratos could look like God of War is based on Chinese mythology. The developer created a 3D model of the Chinese god of war Chi Yu and showed it on video and screenshots. The work is done for the GGAC competition.
In his portfolio, ZHOU tony indicated that he works as a character artist for the well-known Chinese company NetEase, which Diablo Immortal. However, it is not known what projects the enthusiast has worked on or is currently working on. Among ZHOU tony’s previous works you will find renders of Cyberpunk 2077, where he showed his own character.
