New details appear on the Internet Dead Island 2. Edition Game Informer talked about a new game character – a sex worker named Ryan.
The developers call Ryan a nice guy who hasn’t really succeeded at anything. After the death of his parents, he had to take care of his younger brother. Around the same time, he decided to get a job as a stripper.
“People used to joke that he was handsome enough to be a stripper and that he always loved going to dances. He didn’t really go there out of desperation, but just like, ‘Why not? Maybe it’s better here?says Dambuster Studios.
At some point things went uphill and Ryan opened his own small business. The hero comes to customers in a fireman’s suit, so the company was named accordingly – “Big Hose”.
In terms of gameplay, Ryan is a tank. The hero has two starting skills: Retaliation, which gives an increase in strength when using a block or dodge, and Seesaw, which regenerates health every time a zombie is knocked down.
Dead Island 2 will be released on April 28, 2023.
