Like many portals, the SteamDB service decided to wrap up the year by listing this year’s best releases on the Steam store. It is striking that the best game of this year according to TGA 2022, Elden Ring (score 90.58%) was only in 147th place.

Here’s what the top thirty best game projects of 2022 on Steam look like:

1. Vampire Survivors – 97.58% rating;
2. Lost – 96.08% rating;
3. God of War – 95.63% rating;
4. PowerWash Simulator – 95.61% rating;
5. Entropy: Zero 2 – 95.58% rating;
6. Neon White – 95.25% rating;
7. Persona 5 Royal – 95.23% rating;
8. Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered – 94.99% rating;
9. Dorfromantik – rated 94.96%;
10. Brotato – 94.86% rating;

When forming a rating, not only the overall rating is taken into account, but also the number of ratings.

The report says: “Since 2017, the platform has been using a formula that follows two simple rules: 1) the more ratings a game has, the more confident SteamDB has that the rating is correct; 2) all assessments should focus on the average rating (50%)”.

So it will not work to accidentally get into this list.
