Digital Foundry specialists decided to take stock of the year by choosing the game with the best graphics. PlayStation Exclusive winner Horizon Forbidden West. Separately, the project was praised for its good character rendering, cool facial animations and an incredible study of the open world.

Horror came second. The Callisto Protocol. The game pleases with realistic graphics and detailed character models. Without technical problems, the project could compete for first place. The third position is occupied by the RTX version of the first Portal because of ray tracing, which completely transformed the iconic puzzle game.
Also, the authors of the Digital Foundry portal identified seven other contenders: Gran Turismo 7 for lighting and car simulation, The Last of Us Part 1 to make the game from scratch, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide for the development of locations, shadows and lighting, A Plague Tale: Requiem for impressive graphics Fortnite on Unreal Engine 5.1, Need for Speed Unbound for realistic image, nice effects, car development and open world, but also excellent optimization, Dying Light 2 for good work with shadows and lighting.
