A new trailer has been released for the dark mod Raising The Bar: Redux, mimicking an early version Half-Life 2. The video showed the second chapter and the release of the playable version is expected “soon”.

The chapter is called Division 2, in which Gordon Freeman will travel through the canals of City 17 and Quarrytown, one of the early versions of Ravenholm. At this time, you can only download 2020 build number 1.2 and the Division 2 demo with the first six levels. Technically, the change is made based on Half Life 2: Episode Two. The video also showed firing, falling, and an updated gravity gun.

The project itself started in 2012, then another team was involved, which stopped development in 2016. The plot is based on early developments, and the fans took the name from the book by David Hodgson (David Hodgson), which describes the development of the game, provides concept art and other data.

Judging by the book, the first draft of Half-Life 2 was very different from the release. In particular, City 17 looked more like the city from Blade Runner, Alex Vance had a different look and instead of Eli Vance, Eli was Maxwell.

Additionally, a similar Dark Interval mod is being made, also based on Hodgson’s book. Samuel L
