In honor of the soon to be released nextgen version The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, set to hit PC and consoles on December 14, CD Projekt RED released a 5-minute short film featuring live actors, showing the game’s backstory.
In the video you can see Geralt of Rivia (Darth Bronka), Triss Merigold (Elisabeth Marx), Yennefer of Vengerberg (Sandra Wanke), Ciri (Mia), Buttercup (Mateusz), Vernon Rocher (FelitusDE), Iorvet (Nina Klocker), Leto (Professor Cosplay) and Foltest (Jagoda). Almost all characters were played by cosplayers.
Nextgen version The Witcher 3 will be released as a free update on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. The PS4 and Xbox One versions are getting a patch with bug fixes and new content – a quest and gear in the spirit of the Netflix series.
