Blizzard Entertainment has confirmed that citizens of Russia and Belarus cannot purchase Diablo 4. Their accounts just don’t have that option. This applies to accounts registered in Russia and Belarus.
Tech support reported that they don’t yet know if the situation will change closer to release. However, there is no game in the Battle.net launcher yet. Note that Blizzard stopped selling games in both countries in early 2022.
At the same time, owners of foreign accounts can give the game to Russians and Belarusians, although it is not yet clear whether it will be launched and implemented.
Diablo 4 is scheduled to release on June 6, 2023 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
