ESRB website reveals details of “adult content” in Diablo 4. In the US, the game was expected to be rated M (17+) – the same was true for the previous installments.
According to the ESRB, the game will feature a lot of gore, violence, and dismemberment, as well as plenty of brutal scenes where you’ll see opponent decapitation, mutilated bodies, spiked enemies, guts, and more. In one such scene, a man slits his own throat to complete the ritual; in another, a man is tormented and devoured by monsters. Microtransactions are also mentioned on the ESRB website – we are talking about custom items, of course. As for nudity, it’s in There will be no Diablo 4.
Diablo 4 will be released on June 6, 2023 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
