How to participate in the Mist Dungeon: Sand Realm event
Players must reach Adventure Rank 20 to participate in this event. There are no other requirements.
Open the events menu and go to the corresponding tab. Select the level you want to complete and then assemble a team of trial heroes.
Remark: to receive additional rewards when passing a certain dungeon, you must activate certain reactions. We’ve discussed this in more detail below.
How to complete the “Test of the Roaring Whirlwinds” dungeon. How to choose a squad and complete the challenge
Each dungeon offers you a bonus for creating certain elemental reactions. In the case of the Roaring Whirlwind Trial, this is the response “Spread”.
When this reaction is activated, all characters are boosted: all party members’ damage is increased by 50%/75%/100%/125% for 10 seconds. Damage can be increased even more by performing special tasks during the test.
Which team to choose
We don’t recommend putting only Anemo characters on the team. This will prevent you from creating special reactions, such as the reaction “Charged”.
The optimal squad to pass this dungeon:
Anemo abilities from the Wanderer and Faruzan (Saiu) will help trigger reactions “Spread”. Ye Lan is needed along with Fischl to create other reactions.
Additional tasks
As you progress through the dungeon, you will encounter not only the main tasks, but additional ones as well. Completing these challenges will increase the damage of all team members until the end of the challenge. Also, performing some of these tasks can bring all dead characters back to life.
Additional tasks are indicated by a sword icon.
How to get through the dungeon
To begin with, you should familiarize yourself with the dungeon map. It shows six tests: three main and three additional.
What additional tasks will allow you to increase damage, and which – to bring heroes to life – is unknown. You will have to find this out yourself.
To unlock access to the final challenge, you must go to the three main tasks on the map and defeat all enemies. At this stage you have to fight the following enemies:
- Kilichurly and slime different elements;
- hermits;
- Molds and slime different elements.
In addition, when you explore the map, you will find special icons. They will help increase the damage of the heroes and restore their health.
Final battle
We don’t recommend ignoring the side missions as they allow you to get a good damage bonus for all team members. Once you’ve completed all of the main challenges, make sure you complete at least two additional challenges. This allows you to compete on an equal footing with higher level enemies in the final battle.
Then, go to the dungeon entrance and activate the ruin’s control panel, which will open the elevator. He will take you to the final test.
The opponents will be a group of level 90 deserters. Once you’ve completed a few side missions, you’ll have no trouble fighting these enemies.
When the last opponent is defeated, the test is over.
Awards:
- Complete the challenge: Source stones (40), Mora (20,000), Agnidus agate fragment (1);
- Activate the Disperse reaction 30 times: Bronze Stones (20), Pestilence (20,000), Iron Amulet of Forest Dew (2).
How to pass the dungeon “Test of the forest thunderstorm”. Which team to choose
As we noted earlier, when passing through dungeons, a bonus is offered for creating some basic reactions. At this stage, the reaction “Stimulation”. It is caused by a combination of Dendro and Electro elements.
When the character attacks an enemy with Boosted status, the critical hit chance is increased by 10%/15%/20%/25% and the critical damage is increased by 20%/30%/40%/50%. The chance of critical hits and critical damage can be further increased by completing special tasks during the challenge.
Which team to choose
You will need elemental heroes Dendro and Electro to create the stimulation response in this challenge.
The optimal squad to pass this dungeon:
By dividing the heroes in this way, you can assign the necessary status to the enemies and receive a bonus for the chance of critical damage and directly for critical damage.
Additional tasks
The side missions in this challenge differ from the previous ones only in the type and number of enemies. In addition, for completing it you can get a bonus not on the damage of heroes, but to critical chance and critical damage.
The location of additional tasks on the map is the same as in the previous test.
How to get through the dungeon
The final battle becomes available after completing three main tasks. At this stage, you face the following opponents:
- Hiriluchrly and lavachurly;
- Combat mechanics;
- Agents of Fatui.
Don’t forget to choose special iconswhich increase the damage of heroes and their vitality.
Final battle
At the end of the challenge, players will encounter two primordial constructs and an eternal disaster dragon. It is worth warning that they have more damage and health.
Sequentially use Dendro and Electro’s elemental abilities to create a reaction “Stimulation” and deal critical damage to enemies. When the last opponent is defeated, the task ends.
Awards:
- Complete the challenge: Bronze Stones (40), Mora (20,000), Varunada Lapis Lazuli Fragment (1);
- Activate the stimulation response 30 times: Source Stones (20), Mora (20,000), Grace of Blooming Oasis (2).
