CD Projekt RED held a private demonstration of the remaster in Poland The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Journalists played it and published new details.
Details:
- The new DLC adds a mission that sends gamers to the Devil’s Pit in Velen. In it, players fight a boss and receive blueprints for items from the Netflix series. The passage of the task takes 30 minutes;
- Dandelion’s new skin and new Nilfgaardian armor are disabled by default. You have to enable them yourself;
- There will be new animations of Geralt and Roach;
- Increased height from which the hero can fall without taking damage;
- The graphics in the remaster have improved, but don’t expect big differences;
- The console version in the “Performance” mode runs at 60 FPS with rare shots, with ray tracing – at 30 FPS;
- Owners of the older console version of the game will also receive DLC for the series.
There is also a list of mods that will be built into the remaster:
- HD reworked project (HD textures);
- World Map Fixes (custom map of the world);
- Nitpicker’s Patch (fix graphics bugs);
- Immersion and gameplay tweaks (more “living” world);
- HD Monsters Reworked (HD monster textures).
The network has also published new screenshots from the remaster, where you can see the updated Yennefer and Geralt, as well as the town of Beauclair from within the DLC.

CD Projekt RED previously announced that it would end support for Gwent after 2023 and put the game in the hands of fans. Netflix also released a trailer for The Witcher: Origins, a prequel to the show starring Henry Cavill.
