The editors of the American magazine The New Yorker have published a list of the best games of 2022 on the site. It included 12 projects.

The choice turned out to be quite unusual – for some unknown reason they did not appear on the list Horizon Forbidden West and the main contender for the “Game of the Year” title God of War: Ragnarok, which received 94/100 on Metacritic, but the editors decided to include a next-gen version Cyberpunk 2077 (original release December 2020). Only from the other big games on the list Elden Ring and race Gran Turismo 7. All other projects are indie.
