space horror The Callisto protocol, which players on Steam crushed due to terrible optimization, decided to launch on PC without a full-fledged video card. A video showing the result of the experiment was posted by YouTuber Christo Gevedjov.

Instead of a video card, an AMD video chip built into the processor has been used. The experiment was performed sequentially on three video chips with different capacities: Athlon 3000G Vega 3, Ryzen 3 3200G Vega 8 and Ryzen 5 3400G Vega 11. The computer on which the game was launched is equipped with a 120 GB SSD and 16 GB of DDR4- RAM. The operating system used was Windows 11 Pro (64-bit).

Result:

  • Athlon 3000G Vega 3 – 25-30 FPS with recordings up to 20 FPS.
  • Ryzen 3 3200G Vega 8 (720p) – 30-35 FPS with recording up to 25 FPS.
  • Ryzen 5 3400G Vega 11 (720p) – 40-50 FPS with frequent shooting.

As for the poor optimization, the developers reported that they are already preparing a patch. It will be released in the near future and will increase the stability of the horror. In NFS Unbound, they found a beep with the voice of rapper A$AP ROCKY – this part of the tuning seemed strange to the players.
