Yesterday (2 December) was the release of the fantastic horror The Callisto protocol, but gamers literally smashed the game and complained about terrible optimization. Recently game developers created official statement about it.
“We are aware that some users are experiencing PC stuttering issues. We have a performance patch that will be available in a few hours, as well as some additional updates.”said the developers.
Therefore, an update to the Callisto protocol should be released in the near future, which will improve the optimization and eliminate the stuttering problem.
It’s worth noting that at the time of writing the news, The Callisto Protocol’s rating on Steam is only 35%. Most gamers in their negative reviews complain about freezes, lags, and severe frame rate drops. “FPS jumps from 60 to 15 and back. And this is at 3090?!” said one of the players.
Meanwhile, the network already has a video showing how The Callisto Protocol works on a PC without a video card and how much FPS it puts out.
