A video was released on IGN’s YouTube channel featuring Robert Bagratuni, game director Atomic Heart, answered fan questions. It became known from the responses:

  • There are three difficulty levels (story, medium and high). They do not affect the plot;
  • The game world is large and layered. It is likened to a tree growing in all directions;
  • There will be secret locations to look for;
  • To better understand the plot, you need to explore the world and study the stories of its inhabitants;
  • There are no downloads between locations;
  • Due to the constant lack of ammunition, you will often have to fight in close combat;
  • Some melee weapons have unique attacks;
  • You can make incendiary bullets;
  • Players will be able to take out enemies quietly, although you shouldn’t expect full-fledged stealth;
  • There will be locations with alarms sounding;
  • There is only one controllable car – it will help you get away from enemies or quickly cross the terrain. The authors explain this by the fact that there was a shortage of cars in the USSR. Maybe new cars will appear in the DLC;
  • The story will be the game’s strongest point;
  • Much attention is paid to music. In addition to Mick Gordon’s (Mick Gordon) songs, players will hear hits from the ’30s and ’80s.

The game will be released on February 21 on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
