The author of the fan remaster of the first “Stalker” called STALKER: Shadow Of Chernobyl Update has published a gameplay video demonstrating the updated “Agroprom Dungeon” location.
According to the developer, the video does not reflect the final quality of the project – the release version will look nicer. However, the video allows you to appreciate the improved level design and new graphical effects.
The remaster is currently in open beta. The updated version of the game in 2007 will boast improved graphics – textures, weather effects, as well as character and weapon models will be reworked. And the developer promises to improve the gameplay mechanics.
No word on how far the remaster is yet to be completed.
