The project is reportedly set to be released on December 25, 2022. It is noted that the game is being developed on the OGSR engine, an evolution of the X-Ray Engine. The upcoming remaster of STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl will have better textures for many objects and surfaces. The author of the project posted many new frames on the network, on which he demonstrated improved textures.
It should be noted that in the remaster of the game “STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl” fans will also expect new sounds. These are, for example, dialogues, monster screams and other sounds that have been improved by the developer. In addition, updated NPCs will also appear in the new STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl, and some will even have new models. There are also improved shader effects with more to come. It’s also worth noting that the remaster will replace almost all textures in the game with updated textures in 4K resolution.
