One of these days for Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.61 has been released with support for AMD FSR 2.1 technology, which can improve the game’s graphics. Experts at Digital Foundry looked at how the advent of “smart” anti-aliasing is reflected in the console versions for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

According to analysts, FSR 2.1 really improves the graphics. This is especially noticeable at long distances, where objects have become a bit more detailed.

The update removed several visual noises (1st screenshot, car roof) and ghosting effects (2nd screenshot, guitarist’s hand) when a moving object leaves a trail. In addition, the appearance of the hair is noticeably improved for the characters.

CD Projekt RED is currently working on a story expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 called Phantom Freedom. The debut trailer can be viewed here.
