Enthusiast Anslo has released a browser-based racing game called Slow Roads. Its main feature is a procedurally generated map that never ends.

You can travel by car, motorcycle or bus. The game allows you to flexibly customize the world around you by choosing the time of year and day, as well as the complexity of the route. If desired, the arcade can play itself: just turn on the autopilot and enjoy the environment.

According to the developer, the landscape is inspired by the views of England’s Peak District National Park. However, in the settings you can also select the Moon, Venus and Mars.





The project was released on October 22. Through words Incidentally, the game turned out to be so popular that at a certain point the server could not handle the influx of visitors.

The author promises to support the project. In the future, the game will provide support for the gamepad, new vehicles, weather conditions, a leaderboard and competitive modes.
