British company Broadband Choices conducted a survey with the aim of determining the scariest video game. To do this, the authors took 250 participants and had them play horror games, measuring their heart rate along the way.

It turned out that the most awkward game was MADiSON – our review is here. During the game, the heart rate monitor averaged 97 beats per minute; at the most terrifying moments, the figure jumped to 131 beats per minute.

It is noteworthy that in fact the record heart rate was measured while playing PT Hideo Kojima. However, the authors felt that a short demo should not compete with full-fledged games, so they gave her the title of guest of honor.
