At the TechCrunch Disrupt conference, it was announced that Netflix plans to create its own cloud streaming service for games. The vice president of the game division of the company Michael Verdu (Michael Verdu) has stated that the company is moving in this direction. As expected, several projects will be launched in it first, and then this direction will be expanded. The company already started developing a number of mobile games last year and has already released 35 projects. Now it looks like they want to move them to the cloud.

The company also said that the Google Stadia project was technically successful, the problems were only in the business model. Apparently, Netflix wants to use the same approach to attract new audiences. The games are expected to be available on various devices.
It is not yet clear when the company plans to launch its gaming service, how it will operate and in which countries. However, Verdu clarified that if this happens, the list will not include games that can be played with a regular TV remote. This could indicate plans for a gamepad or other specialized device.
