Modder nicknamed Mordor_XP has released a massive modification of The Hell 2 after almost 17 years of development (the first part of the mod was released in 2006) for the original Diablo, which adds a lot of content to the game. Previously, an incomplete version of the mod was available.

“The Hell 2 is a completely redesigned second generation HD mod. It offers even more variety (monsters, items, spells, bosses, a flexible system of options, unique items with different properties and settings that allow for in-depth customization of heroes), new character classes and additional gameplay features”says the description of the mod.

After killing Diablo, players can continue exploring the depths of the underworld in search of new enemies, loot, and rewards.

The change includes an improved engine that allows you to play on modern versions of Windows in high resolution (up to 4K) and on widescreen displays. Unlocked frame rate included.

Among other features, the author highlights many bug fixes from the original. There is support for the multiplayer mode. In addition, the mod makes some changes to the balance of classes (6 main and 29 subclasses), and also adds dynamic difficulty levels (there are eight modes), cut content and improved opponent artificial intelligence.
