Brendan Fraser is best known for The Mummy, where he played adventurer Rick O’Connell. The actor recently gave an interview to Variety, where he talked about his willingness to return to the once-popular franchise.
Admittedly, Fraser is vague about the script for the new movie. The actor will play in a possible sequel if there is a good reason for it.

The celebrity also spoke about the Mummy’s failed reboot in 2017, where Tom Cruise starred. According to Fraser, the action film did not gain popularity due to too much emphasis on horror.
Our mama has an ingredient that I didn’t see in that movie, and that’s nice. That was missing on the reboot. This is a very straight forward horror movie. The mummy should be exciting, not scary and scary.
Recall that Frazier also played the villain “Firefly” in the canceled movie “Batgirl”. And in December he can be seen in the drama “The Whale” – for the role of a three hundred kilogram professor, he received a six-minute standing ovation at the Venice Film Festival.
