As part of New York Comic Con 2022, Warner Bros. announced the fourth cartoon in the Mortal Kombat Legends series. The new feature will be dedicated to one of the most famous characters in the franchise – Johnny Cage.
The fourth animated film titled Mortal Kombat Legends: Cage Match will be released in 2023. The main character is voiced by Joel McHale, who gave voice to the cult character in fighting games Mortal Kombat X and Mortal Kombat 11. Plot details, the exact release date and the cartoon’s debut trailer won’t be released until next year, of course.

The third part, subtitled Snow Blind, premiered on October 8. The plot was devoted to Kenshi and Kuai Lieng’s battle with Shang Tsung and Kano. The earlier installments, Scorpion’s Revenge on Scorpion and Battle of the Realms on the second Mortal Kombat tournament, were released in 2020 and 2021.
