The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power continues to add actors from Peter Jackson’s original film trilogy. This time, a YouTuber nicknamed Stryder HD, using a neural network, showed what the half-elf Elrond, performed by Hugo Weaving, would look like in the series.
The author compared the original version to a deepfake. It is worth noting that in the series the role of Elrond was played by 29-year-old English actor Robert Aramayo. Hugo Weaving also played this character in the films The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. Now he is 62 years old.
Last time, stryder HD showed what Galadriel would look like in the series if Cate Blanchett played her again, not Morfydd Clark.
