Costume designer Darrell Warner has released a cut design for Doctor Strange’s costume from Into the Multiverse of Madness, which was released in May. This version of the character has never been shown to the public before.

The art version of Doctor Strange is called “Melvin the Wonderful”. The image was taken during the first quarantine. The design is based on an early script by director Scott Derrickson, who was later replaced in this chair by Sam Raimi.
I have to say a big thank you to costume designer Graham Churchyard for letting me design and create this concept. Overall, I have enjoyed the work and am very pleased that it (the design) has received some degree of recognition.

In appearance, Doctor Strange in the form of “Melvin Wonderful” resembles a classic wizard from fairy tales. Some even mistook the character for the hero of the movie “Aladdin”.
“If someone says this is the new Aladdin, no one will be surprised”– chenele_.
“Beautiful. This is much more than just a suit. It’s a complete character.”– domlaveryfilmartstuff.
“Looks really great”– jehutysan.
