RBC: Zara launches new products in Russia after store closure

As the publication found out, the last documents of the Zara brand were registered in the unified registry of the Federal Accreditation Service (Rosakkreditatsiya) on August 10 and September 1, 2022. The declaration of conformity with the technical regulations of the Customs Union included goods from the categories Zara and Zara Home: swimwear, knitwear, hats, bedding, shoes and clothes for adults, decor items.

The goods of the Spanish brand were imported into the country both last year and in 2022, according to documents. “For example, in one of the declarations of conformity for Zara Home, you can see that the customs declaration was registered on June 8, 2022, on the same date it was the declaration of children’s outerwear of the Zara customs office. And in the certificates of conformity received after the start of March 2022, products for which customs declarations were submitted in May of this year are also included.

Certificates of conformity and declarations were registered for the brands Oysho, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Pull & Bear following the suspension of stores in March 2022. “Most documents show that products were imported into Russia after March 2022,” RBC said.
