The shooting of the first season of the TV series Twisted Metal, based on the game series of the same name, has been completed. Project showrunner, writer and executive producer Michael Jonathan (Michael Jonathan) informed about it on Twitter.
The last day of filming was like the last day at camp: lots of laughter, a few tears and ice cream handed out in the back of Sweet Tooth’s truck. Can’t wait to see this crazy thing we’ve been working on all summer.
He also showcased the series’ ice sculpture logo. Twisted Metal will reportedly be released on the Peacock streaming service. No premiere date yet. It is also not yet clear to what extent the adaptation corresponds to the plot of the games.
