Political science student Melissa Rauf, who participated in the semi-finals of the “Miss England” beauty pageant, took the stage without make-up. This has been reported Mirror.
After 94 years, she became the first contestant to decide to quit makeup, competing with other girls. As a result, she went to the finals of the competition.
A student at King’s College London plans to wear a makeover at the final competition in October 2022. The girl hopes that her example will inspire other women to accept their make-up look.
“When people are comfortable with their bodies, they shouldn’t feel obligated to cover their faces with makeup. Our flaws make us who we are, and that makes us unique individuals. I think people should love and accept their flaws and features and beauty as we know it is in simplicity,” said 20-year-old Melissa Rauf.
She admitted that she actively used decorative cosmetics from her youth, and now it is important for her to show young girls that they do not have to do this.
Former supermodel Bella Hadid showed face without makeup and photoshop.
