So many users were waiting for the premiere of the “House of the Dragon” series that there was an overload on the streaming service at the start of the broadcast. This normally prevented viewers from watching the novelty.
According to Deadline, users contacted the @HBOMaxHelp Twitter account, but technical support only advised restarting the app. One of the subscribers there was told they were aware of the issue.
Later, HBO Max commented on the situation before Deadline, stating that users trying to connect through Fire TV devices are having a problem. Nothing has been said about other users yet.
