At the beginning of this month we already reported on the first reactions to the series “House of the Dragon” (a spin-off of “Game of Thrones”). Now Metacritic has full scores. At the time of writing, the series has 68 points.

“House of the Dragon” isn’t just good, it’s great. This is definitely the show Game of Thrones fans want, full of drama, fire and blood. Oh yeah, and lots of dragons too.
Basically, everything is as it was during the Game of Thrones heyday. Fun, energetic, good looking and satisfying sounding series.
The “House of the Dragon” has something to surprise. But for better or for worse, he cannot escape having to remain in the shadow of his predecessor for the time being.
The premiere of “House of the Dragon” takes place August 21 on HBO.
