Netflix has finished counting the views of the fourth season of Stranger Things. In the first 28 days (the first and second part of the season), the counter remained at 1.352 billion hours.
Stranger Things has become the most popular English-language series on Netflix. In second place is the second season of The Bridgertons with a “modest” 656 million hours.
The series came closest to The Squid Game, which still holds the status of the most popular show on the site. In its first 28 days, the Korean drama delivered 1,650 billion hours, 298 million more than its competitor.
Last November, The Squid Game was officially renewed for a second season. The exact release date has not yet been announced.
