British actor Dev Patel (Dev Patel), known for his roles in the films “The Legend of the Green Knight” and “Slumdog Millionaire”, stopped a stabbing in the Australian city of Adelaide. The actor and his friends walked through the business district and witnessed a fight between a man and a woman.
During the fight, the woman stabbed the man in the chest. Patel managed to separate the stabbing participants and wait for the arrival of the police and ambulance. Doctors have taken the victim to hospital, his injuries are not life-threatening.
In a response to the local press, Patel’s friends said the actor “acted according to his natural instinct“. Later his representatives added that in this situation, “no heroes”, let the celebrity risk his life.
In 2017, Dev Patel was nominated for an Oscar for his role in The Lion.
