It looks like the Batgirl solo movie won’t see the light of day. According to foreign publications, Warner Bros. Discovery eventually released a comic book movie from the directors of Bad Boys for Life, even though it was already finished.

Shooting for Batgirl, which cost $90 million, ended in March. Leslie Grace played, Brendan Fraser played Firefly and Michael Keaton returned as Bruce Wayne.

The company managed to hold test screenings with the public, but apparently it doesn’t get any further. The premiere was canceled due to the company’s new strategy (Warner Bros. and Discovery merged in June), which aims to focus only on theatrical releases. “Batgirl”, which was scheduled to be released on HBO Max, isn’t really needed now.

It was also later announced that Warner Bros. canceled the sequel to the cartoon “Scooby-Doo”, the budget of which was about 40 million dollars.
