Resident Evil, which premiered on July 14, received one of the lowest user ratings of any Netflix adaptation. The show’s first season has a whopping 22% positive reviews on Rotten Tomatoes.

According to viewers, the authors failed to properly adapt the series of games and convey the atmosphere, while taking away from the original story and spoiling the characters. The show has also been criticized for poor acting, a boring script, plot holes, bad music, and terrible computer graphics.

Remarkably, according to Redanian Intelligence, the show has already been renewed for a second season. It is believed they are now writing a script for him, and shooting will begin at the end of this year. Perhaps after the devastating reviews, the creators will reconsider their decision about continuing the show.
