Chris Evans revealed during an interview with MTV News that he would like to return to the MCU. The actor is eager to play the Human Torch again in the Fantastic Four.
God, wouldn’t that be great? No, no one has ever approached me about this. I mean, I don’t look the same anymore. It was 15, almost 20 years ago. My God, I’m old. I really like this character, but I think… aren’t they doing something with the Fantastic Four now?
Evans also noted that even Captain America’s return isn’t as appealing to him as the opportunity to replay the Human Torch.
Cap is very dear to me. And you know, I almost don’t want to ruin the wonderful experience I had. But with Johnny Storm, I feel like he never got his moment of glory. This was before Marvel really became successful. Overall I like this role so who knows?
