More than a third of Russians (36%) have had a relationship with a colleague at least once. According to analysts, employees mostly from Nizhny Novgorod (47%), Moscow (43%) and Rostov-on-Don (41%) start an office romance, and least often from Samara (67%), Krasnoyarsk (67%) employees % ) and Win (62%).

The majority of respondents said they were neutral about relationships between colleagues. At the same time, there were more opponents of office romances (26%) than supporters (18%). It is noteworthy that among those who oppose romance in the workplace, more men than women (24% vs. 13%).

78% of office romances end in separation. At the same time, the majority (68%) of respondents who had experienced a romantic relationship with a colleague left for personal reasons. Only 11% of survey respondents said they left because of work. 11 percent of Russians are dating a colleague, and 12 percent are married.

The majority of respondents (54%) mostly date equally-positioned colleagues in the same department. 15% of respondents started to establish relationships with their superiors. However, only 9% of managers decided to engage with their subordinates. 15% of Russians said they had not met a partner at work but were in a similar position.

One-third (31%) of respondents agree to work with husband/wife, provided that boundaries are drawn between private life and work. 19% of respondents are ready to work with their partners, believing that joint activities bring people closer together. At the same time, 27 percent of Russians are against working with their lovers because they think it could ruin the relationship. 23% of survey participants refuse to work with a partner because they are sure that it is necessary to categorically separate their personal and work lives.
