Stylist and TV presenter Vlad Lisovets, in a conversation with socialbites.ca, suggested that Russians celebrate the New Year 2024 with bright or leather clothes. According to him, it is better to choose clothes in red, green, pistachio and dusty pink tones.
“You need to be in a good mood on New Year’s Eve and clothes help a lot. The first thing you need to focus on is your desire. Discard all the instructions of stylists and astrologers. Be guided by your financial wealth as well as what’s in your wardrobe. If you still have the opportunity to buy a beautiful outfit and shine on New Year’s Eve, then any option will do. This could be a suit, a dress, or even a miniskirt. Don’t limit yourself in anything. Sparkle and elegance are in fashion now. The colors you can wear next year are red, green, pistachio and dusty pink. You can even wear a black outfit. I always celebrate the New Year in black and I consider this color very solemn. I add some shades to it, for example red. Leather goods are now an absolute trend: skirts, trousers, jackets. Maybe a tie, maybe a big bow, a blouse with a bow,” Lisovets said.
The stylist also reminded astrologers’ advice to celebrate the year of the Green Wood Dragon with clothes in shades of green.
“If you are very superstitious, buy yourself underwear in the color of the year or tie a ribbon around your arm to match the astrological predictions. Don’t stop yourself from doing anything, the main thing is to buy things you like and can wear for a long time. Because now you need to approach the choice of clothes rationally,” said Lisovets.
