Another sexual assault scandal has erupted online. Vin Diesel’s former assistant has filed a lawsuit against the actor, claiming he sexually harassed her during the filming of the fifth Fast and the Furious film.
According to Asta Jonasson, Vin Diesel’s company One Race hired her in 2010. The girl, who had recently graduated from film school, had to organize meetings, accompany the actor and be close “in case he is photographed with women when attending events without his long-time girlfriend”.
The lawsuit alleges that Jonasson was with Diesel at St. Registry in September 2010. The actor was talking to the hostess of the club and asked the assistant to wait for him in his room. When the girls left, Diesel grabbed Jonasson’s wrists and dragged her to the bed. Jonasson asked him to stop, then broke away from his arms and ran to the front door. Diesel caught up with the girl, lifted her dress and started touching the girl’s breasts and inner thighs. At one point, Diesel pushed the victim against a wall and began masturbating, according to the lawsuit.
According to Jonasson, Samantha Vincent, Vin Diesel’s sister and chairman of One Race, called the victim a few hours later and fired her.
According to the lawsuit, this is not the first incident to occur on the job. A few days earlier, Jonasson was abused by another One Race manager who asked her for sex. The girl claims that it still bothers her “humiliation, emotional stress, mental and physical pain”.
Vin Diesel’s representative categorically denied all allegations. He said this is the first time he has heard about the incident and says he has proof that all the allegations are false.
News of the assault comes days after the trial of Jonathan Majors, who plays Kang the Conqueror. The jury found the actor guilty of assaulting his partner, after which Marvel terminated its contract with him.
