Filming for HBO’s The Last of Us has ended

Yesterday, June 10, ended up recordings of The Last of Us. The first season will have 10 episodes, each costing about $10 million.

The pilot episode was directed by Russian director Kantemir Balagov, some other episodes were directed by Yasmila Zhbanich and Neil Druckmann. Now the series will have a post-production phase where they will add all the necessary effects, sound and more.

There is no release date yet, but Kantemir Balaganov previously noted in a media interview that the premiere could take place early next year. And before that, HBO content director Casey Bloys said the series won’t be released in 2022.
