Petr Lari, chief architect of the L.BURO landscape studio, summarized the main trends in landscape design.

“Technology now solves two problems: simplifying maintenance and creating visual beauty in the garden. These include natural landscape lighting, automated irrigation systems, pavement heating, fogging, robotic lawnmowers and expandable patios,” he said.
As for practicality, the garden should be properly zoned: a large terrace, an ornamental garden, a recreation area with a barbecue fire and a gazebo-remote office as a new element of the garden. Competent logistics are also important: the main and secondary aspects are highlighted, snow removal is considered.

Olga Maksimova, head of the SunnyHouse interior and exterior studio, notes that naturalness, the use of local plants, discreet landscape groups and concise monochrome mixborders are still in fashion.
