Last week, a Virginia court ruled in the case of Johnny Depp (Johnny Depp) against Amber Heard (Amber Heard): the actor’s ex-wife must pay $10.35 million for defamatory statements. As has become known, Depp may refuse compensation.
Johnny Depp’s attorney Benjamin Chew suggested his client could reach a settlement if Amber Heard’s side doesn’t appeal. According to the lawyer, the actor only wanted to give back a good name.

Obviously we cannot release the details of the negotiations with the client, but, as Mr Depp testified, and as we both made clear in the relevant statements, it was never a question of money for Mr Depp. It was about restoring his reputation, which he achieved.
Before that, Amber Heard’s lawyer said that the actress does not have enough money to pay the full compensation. The parties must arrive before June 24, when the next hearing takes place.
Earlier, Johnny Depp opened a TikTok account. 12 million people signed up for the celebrity account. Chel brought the world of TES 4: Oblivion to Minecraft – it took more than two years
